The PADI Open Water certification is a world-renowned scuba certification. Once you have it, you are certified for life. The first Scuba Diving Course is the PADI Open Water Diver. As a certified Open Water Diver you will be qualified to:
The PADI Open Water Diver Certification course has three phases and will take as little as 3 days:
The course includes: use of tank, regulator with alternate air source and gauges, bcd, weights, wetsuit and computer, for all of the pool sessions and all of the Open Water Dives
You will receive your own text book, log book. (when doing the book training.)
Student Diver Prerequisites
Minimum age: Open Water Diver 15 years old by the end of the course.
For Kids: Junior Open Water Diver must be 10 years old by the start of the course. Junior divers must meet all the requirements for the Open Water Diver other that age. 10 and 11 year old divers must dive with a PADI Instructor or Dive Master. 12, 13 and 14 year old divers must dive with a certified diver of legal age until they turn 15 years old.
Fill out and sign Medical Statement, Standard Safe Diving Practices and Liability Release. Some individuals may be required to obtain a physician’s approval.
